PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic safety support system in which a portable communication terminal which a driver or a fellow passenger of a vehicle has can obtain positional information without time lag even while a user is riding in a vehicle, and which can prevent notification from being issued by mistake while the user is riding in the vehicle or just after getting off the vehicle.SOLUTION: The portable communication terminal includes: first means for intermittently obtaining and managing pedestrian positional information being positional information of the portable communication terminal; second means by which at least an on-vehicle communication terminal takes in peripheral terminal positional information being positional information which comes from a corresponding target communication terminal; third means for determining whether or not the portable communication terminal exists in a vehicle; fourth means for, when it is determined that the portable communication terminal exists in the vehicle, estimating the target communication terminal mounted on the same vehicle; and fifth means for correcting the pedestrian positional information managed by the first means, by the peripheral terminal positional information taken in from the target communication terminal on the same vehicle. |
