PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a needle assembly which can block exposure of a used needle and prevent body fluid from scattering.SOLUTION: A needle assembly includes a needle body and a needle prevention member provided at a proximal end part of the needle body. The needle protection member has a pair of slices facing each other with an axis of the needle body therebetween, and at least one of the pair of slices has, around it, an engagement part engaged with the other slice. When the engagement part is engaged with the other slice, the pair of slices form a bag shape and store the needle body inside. Thus, since the needle body is not exposed after use, false puncture can be prevented and scattering of body fluid can be prevented as well. |
