The method involves capturing an image in a predetermined environment around a vehicle (4) in a pre-determined frequency by using a camera device (2). The captured image is analyzed and contents of the captured image are manipulated, by using vehicle-internal sensors and vehicle-external sensors. The manipulated contents are projected to a position in the predetermined environment by using laser light beams, where the position indicates a predetermined relationship with a position of the image captured in the predetermined environment. An independent claim is also included for a device for projecting a laser light image in an environment around a vehicle.
