<p>A port configuration method, device and frame-type communication apparatus for a network interface module are provided in embodiments of the present invention. The present invention relates to the technical field of network communications, and solves the problems of error prone and high cost caused by manual operations when the network interface module is configured in prior art. In embodiments of the present invention, the network interface module of a functional integration type is used, and at least two protocol types can be supported by the port on the network integration module. When the protocol type of the port on a switch module physically connected to the port on the network interface module belongs to the protocol types supported by the port on the network interface module, the parameters of the port on the network interface module are set to match the parameters of the port on the connected switch module, thus realizing the automatic configuration of the network interface module and reducing the maintenance costs and device costs when network interface modules of different functions are replaced.</p> |
