PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding device capable of grinding an inner wall of a groove of a workpiece so that wear caused by friction between the inner wall of the groove of the workpiece and a counter part member to be fitted therein is reduced.SOLUTION: A shaft 30 that rotates together with a holder 20 has one end held reciprocally in an axial direction in the holder 20 while the other end extends to the outside of the holder 20. A disk-like pedestal 53 is extended in a radial direction toward the outside from the other end of the shaft 30 while the pedestal 53 is provided with an annular grinding wheel 60. The grinding wheel 60 and the pedestal 53 are inserted into the groove 4 of the workpiece 2 so that they can grind the inner wall 5 of the groove 4. When stress acts on the pedestal 53 from the inner wall 5 of the groove 4 of the workpiece 2 via the grinding wheel 60 by an energizing force of a spring 40, the grinding wheel 60 and the pedestal 53 are brought to be inclined with respect to a plane S which is perpendicular to the center axis Oof the hole 3 of the workpiece 2. By this, a corner 6 that connects the hole 3 of the workpiece 2 and the groove 4 is ground at an obtuse angle. |
