PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-capacity, high-output removable battery module having a good heat radiation property while protecting a battery cell from impact.SOLUTION: A battery module comprises: a cell unit 61 having a plurality of battery cells 62 juxtaposed while lining up positions of end surfaces; a lead plate 65 electrically connecting the plurality of battery cells 62; and a case 52 with a handle 53 provided to an upper part thereof. In lateral surfaces of the cell unit 61, a surface whose end surface is juxtaposed and on which the lead plate 65 is placed is the largest. The lateral surface of the case 52 has: heat radiation surface parts 81a and 81b approximately arranged along an end surface of the battery cell 62; and a convex part 85 provided around the heat radiation surface parts 81a and 81b, and protruded from the heat radiation surface parts 81a and 81b in an out-of-plane direction to form an impact absorption space A together with the cell unit 61. |
