PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch a plurality of radio units without giving adverse effect to a network.SOLUTION: A radio communication device 2 comprises: a first radio unit 11; a second radio unit 12 having a communication distance longer than that of the first radio unit 11; a storage unit 13 for storing data received by the first radio unit 11 and second radio unit 12; a communication determination unit for determining whether the first radio unit 11 is continuing communication or has disconnected the communication; a threshold retention unit 16 for retaining a threshold used for determining whether to permit switching from the first radio unit 11 to the second radio unit 12; a residual quantity monitoring unit 15 for determining whether or not an unreceived data residual quantity of data which has being received by the first radio unit 11 before disconnection of communication is smaller than the threshold retained by the threshold retention unit 16, when the communication determination unit determines that the first radio unit 11 has disconnected the communication; and a control unit 17 for making the second radio unit 12 start receiving the unreceived data by replacing the first radio unit 11 with the second radio unit 12, when the residual quantity monitoring unit 15 determines that the unreceived data residual quantity is smaller than the threshold. |
