The actuator (1) has an annular piston guided or conducted in a slave cylinder (7), and a housing unit (14) provided with the slave cylinder, a coolant line and a pressure medium line (8). The pressure medium line and/or the coolant line are formed by pipes i.e. metal tubes, which are attached to the slave cylinder. A release valve is arranged or arrangeable in an accommodation space of the housing unit, where the accommodation space is in fluid connection with the slave cylinder. The coolant line comprises a central aperture formed adjacent to a bottom of the slave cylinder. An independent claim is also included for a clutch.
