PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open showcase where a front surface has an opening part, while multiple stages of display shelves are arranged in a vertically long storage chamber, and a space of the storage chamber is completely and fully illuminated, regardless of position change of the display shelves.SOLUTION: An open showcase includes a thermal insulation box body where a front surface has an opening part, a storage chamber having multiple stages of display shelves inside is formed, and at least one of right and left side surfaces is formed of double glass. Displayed objects placed on the display shelves in the storage chamber are refrigerated and freely taken out from the front surface opening part. The double glass is obtained by holding seal materials along whole circumferential edge parts of inner glass and outer glass, and also LED illumination devices for illuminating the storage chamber are arranged in gaps between the inner glass and the outer glass on the inner sides of the seal materials along front end edges in the double glass. |
