PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for predicting the risk of developing a disease in which an aggregate of TDP-43 accumulates.SOLUTION: This method for predicting the risk of developing a disease in which an aggregate of TDP-43 of a subject accumulates includes a process of detecting a peptide consisting of a partial amino acid sequence of TDP-43, that is an amino acid sequence of 20 residues or less containing an amino acid residue corresponding to the 246th and/or 247th place, in a biological sample of the subject.
