PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent secret information from being peeked into by another person when displaying the secret information, such as the name of a customer, on a display screen.SOLUTION: When secret information of a customer is displayed in a secret information display area 4 of a display screen 31, a display approval button 6 by which the customer approves the display of the secret information is provided in the vicinity of the secret information display area 4, and the secret information is displayed in the secret information display area 4 with the depression of the display approval button 6 as a condition. The secret information is displayed only while the customer depresses the display approval button 6. Further, the secret information is displayed only for a predetermined time after the customer depresses the display approval button 6. Furthermore, the display of the secret information can be hidden by a palm by providing a plurality of display approval buttons 6. |
