Capacitive switch

The capacitive switch (1) has a sensor surface (3) and a reference surface (5) that are arranged substantially in a common plane, such that the electric field is formed with arcuate field lines between the sensor surface and the reference surface. A coupling surface (7) is arranged in the electric field and is provided with a movement relative to the sensor surface and the reference surface to a change in capacitance between the sensor surface and the reference surface.
