The device (10) has sensors (20a, 20b) comprising respective signal generators (22a, 22b), transmission antennas (24a, 24b) and receiving antennas (26a, 26b). A reference clock generator (30) is provided for generating a common reference clock for the signal generators, where the antennas are connected with the signal generators. The signal generators stay in signal communication contact with the reference clock generator. A synchronization device is provided for synchronizing frequency variation of transmission signals of the sensors that are arranged at a rear end of a vehicle. An independent claim is also included for a method for monitoring surrounding of a vehicle. |
