<p>The pad has a flexible layer (1) exhibiting a modulus of elasticity in a range of 1 mega Pascal to 1000 mega Pascal, where the modulus of elasticity is measured in accordance with DIN International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 527-1, and no inelastic layer is provided in the pad. The flexible layer contains polyurethane, PVC, silicone, silicone gel, nitrile-butyl-rubber, ethylene-propylene-rubber, polyethylene, and polypropylene. A multi-layered pressure sensible adhesive glue (2) fastens the pad to a rubber blanket cylinder. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a rubber blanket in an offset printing.</p> |
