<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The cable has a single-piece electrically conductive sleeve (7) exhibiting a longitudinal axis (L). The sleeve is sub-divided into two geometrical sleeve halves by a longitudinal cross-sectional plane and provided with two sections that are arranged at an offset in a direction of the axis. The sleeve encloses a shield, and is connected to the shield by a crimp. The sleeve includes a set of crimping edges provided within the sections in one of sleeve halves and crimp-freely formed in the other sleeve half. The sleeve includes another set of crimping edges in the latter sleeve half. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a crimping device. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Cable i.e. prefabricated shielded cable, for transmitting high frequency signals e.g. UHF- or VHF signals, in a motor car or aircraft. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The cable is manufactured in simple and inexpensive manner with high mechanical tensile strength and high-quality.
