PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker capable of enhancing safety of a user. SOLUTION: The heating cooker includes: a casing 1; a heating chamber provided within the casing 1, having an opening on the front face side and storing a heated object; a lower heater for heating the heated object; a door 2 with a handle provided so as to be movable forwardly/backwardly with respect to the heating chamber and opening/closing the opening of the heating chamber; a pair of fixed rails 45, 45 fixed to the casing 1; a pair of movable rails 42, 42 provided so as to enable advancement/retracting with respect to the fixed rails 45, 45 and having front ends mounted to the door 2 with the handle; and a plate-shaped member 47 for interconnecting the pair of movable rails 42, 42. The plate-shaped member 47 is moved in a region lower than the opening of the heating chamber forwardly/backwardly along with the forward/backward movement of the door 2 with the handle. When the opening of the heating chamber is closed by the door 2 with the handle, the plate-shaped member is positioned on the lower side relative to the bottom of the heating chamber.
