PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a road heater vehicle capable of shortening a construction distance and reducing construction cost. SOLUTION: A road heater vehicle V comprises: a vehicle body (a road heater body) 1 for traveling on an existing paved body (a road) R; a heating apparatus 2 for heating the surface layer G of the existing paved body R; a scrabbling and chipping apparatus 3 for scrabbling and chipping the heated surface layer G; and a conveying apparatus 4 for conveying pavement material (asphalt mixture) to the rear 1b side of the vehicle body 1. The scrabbling and chipping apparatus 3 comprises an insertion member 35 to be inserted into the heated surface layer G and an elastic member 36 for energizing the insertion member 35 towards the surface layer G.
