The invention relates to a method and a device for quickly determining the interfacial tension and surface tension of liquids that form a phase boundary or between liquids and vacuum/gases. In the measurement method, one or more vessels are filled with the phases that do not mix and then tipped in order to determine the interfacial tension and surface tension between liquids and in vacuum/gases. The interfacial tension can be determined for each vessel using, for example, the angle of inclination of the newly arising interface. By means of said measurement method, quick, fully automatic, and continuous measurements can be conducted, and differential measurements can be performed in one step. |
