PURPOSE: A conversation system using a virtual ID in a communication network and a method thereof are provided to guarantee anonymity of a conversation by performing the conversation with access using the virtual ID granted during the conversation. CONSTITUTION: A user terminal (120) accesses a virtual ID conversation server (100) to receive the ID and transmits conversation content information to other user terminals. A virtual ID generating unit of the virtual ID conversation server generates the virtual ID and provides a conversation service of the user terminal by the virtual ID. A temporary storage unit of the virtual ID conversation server temporarily stores the generated virtual ID and deletes the virtual ID according to the termination of the conversation.
