PURPOSE: A method for extinguishing fire in a car engine room and a fire extinguisher are provided to minimize the damage to the frame of a car and to rapidly extinguish fire. CONSTITUTION: A fire extinguisher comprises a pipe-shaped device(60) and a fire extinguishing agent tank(50). The pipe-shaped device comprises a compressed air tank(10), a length adjustment leg(20), and a cylinder(30). The compressed air tank provides driving force passing to a nozzle. The length adjustment leg maintains the level of the entire device. In the cylinder, the nozzle sprays fire extinguishing agent while passing through a bonnet. The fire extinguishing agent tank is connected to the nozzle through a flexible hose. |
