<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus which reduces streaks and density irregularities. <P>SOLUTION: The printing apparatus performs processing of printing based on printing data to a recording medium by a printing head which is constituted by arranging a plurality of light emitting elements in a line shape. The printing apparatus has a first calculating means which calculates a ratio of a maximum light reception value and a minimum light reception value in an interfering light reception state between a target light emitting element and a light emitting element adjacent to the target light emitting element, a second calculating means which adds proper light quantity correcting information possessed by the target light emitting element to the calculation result of the first calculating means and thereby makes it light quantity correcting data for the target light emitting element, and a light quantity correcting means which performs processing of light quantity correction to the printing data according to the light quantity correcting data as the calculation result of the second calculating means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&amp;INPIT</p> |
