The device for the processing and/or conveying of a material web has at least one former (06,07) and a knife (05) installed in the path of the web. The knife and the former are movable at right angles to the running direction of the material web (01,02) by at least one actuating component (08). The former and the knife are installed on a common frame (15) and movable by a common drive (11). An independent claim is included for a procedure for the adjustment of web processing tools of a web processing machine.
