PURPOSE: A vacuum brake for collecting a shot ball is provided to moderate impact and noise due to impact of a sealing plate and a cover because the cover contacts to an elastic ring when the cover collides to the sealing plate. CONSTITUTION: A vacuum brake for collecting a shot ball comprises a reducer(11), a flange(13), a cover(15), a sealing plate(19), a plate part(23), an elastic spring(29), a stopper(31), and a casing cap(39). The flange is coupled at the bottom of the reducer to be mounted on a vacuum tank of a shot ball collector. The cover has a through-hole(16) through which air passes and is coupled at the top of the reducer. The sealing plate seals the through-hole to prevent the inflow of air into the reducer through the through-hole. The plate part guides the sliding of a shaft part and is separated from the cover to inject the air into the through-hole. If the sealing plate moves forward by the vacuum pressure of the reducer, the elastic string supports the shaft part to return the sealing plate. If the shaft part slides to the limit thereof to move forward the sealing plate to a predetermined limit, the stopper contacts to the plate part to prevent the sliding of the shaft part. The casing cap is coupled to the other side of a protection casing(37) to enclose a tension regulating part(35). |
