PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a scanning type optical fiber which enables easy and reliable alignment of a central axis of an optical fiber with an optical axis of a lens and reliably ensures the insulation between a casing and a soldering part. SOLUTION: A second inner circumferential surface 137 of a fixing member 130 includes a cross-sectional area greater than that of the soldering part 180 of a piezo actuator 110 and a power cable 170 in a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction. An adhesive 160 is filled between the end of a proximal end side of the piezo actuator 110 and the second inner circumferential surface 137. As a result, the power cable 170 extending from the end of the proximal end side of the piezo actuator 110 and the single mode optical fiber 120 are fixed relative to the fixing member 130, and the insulation of the soldering part 180 is ensured.
