PURPOSE: A nonpoint pollutant reducing facility with a sand filtration tank and a nonpoint pollutant reducing method thereof are provided to reduce maintenance costs by reducing unnecessary filtration treatment, since the facility filters only first rainfall, and flows out the rest of the rainfall. CONSTITUTION: A nonpoint pollutant reducing facility (10) with a sand filtration tank comprises a flow rate distribution structure (100), a pre-treatment tank (200), and a sand filter tank (300). The flow rate distribution structure guides first outflow to a distribution water channel by being equipped with a guide projection (110). The sand filter tank is packed with a sand layer, filters the first out flow, and discharges the first outflow to an existing channel. Height adjustment concrete (350) on which a slope is formed is installed on the lower surface of the sand filter tank. |
