PURPOSE: A complex planetary front wheel driving continuously variable transmission is provided to improve the degree of design freedom by realizing compactness. CONSTITUTION: A friction brake (86) is combined with one among the elements of a planetary gear assembly. A second transfer gear set has a first gear and a second gear. The first gear is combined with another element of the planetary gear assembly. The second gear drives an output member to be operated. A friction clutch is arranged between the first gear and the other elements among the elements of the planetary gear assembly.
