PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress failures such as corrosion, defective operation, and the like of a thermally-actuated element and a movable piece even under bad conditions by enhancing sealability of a case, in a breaker used as a protection device of a secondary battery or the like.SOLUTION: A resin base 71 comprises: a housing part 73 housing a thermally-actuated element 5; and a contact part 74 which is provided outside the housing part 73 and is in contact with a rear surface of a movable piece 4 between an elastic part 43 and a terminal 41 of the movable piece 4. A cover member 72 mounted on the resin base 71 includes a contact part 79 being in contact with a front surface of the movable piece 4 and holding the movable piece 4. A first rib 77a protruding to the side of the movable piece 4 is formed in the contact part 79. The first rib 77a closes a gap between the movable piece 4 and the contact part 79 to enhance sealability of the case 7. |
