PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light-emitting element with improved light extraction efficiency and improved brightness.SOLUTION: The semiconductor light-emitting element includes a light-emitting layer, a first electrode, an insulating layer, a first-conductivity-type layer, a second-conductivity-type layer, and a second electrode. The first electrode includes a reflective metal layer and a transparent conductive film provided on the reflective metal layer. The insulating layer is provided on the first electrode and has an opening. The first-conductivity-type layer is provided between the light-emitting layer and the first electrode, and is contact with the transparent conductive film exposed at the opening and a surface of the insulating layer. The second-conductivity-type layer has a first surface on the light-emitting layer side and a second surface on the opposite side of the first surface. The second electrode is provided on the second surface of the second-conductivity-type layer. The interface between the first-conductivity-type layer and the insulating layer has a first irregularity. A region of the second surface of the second-conductivity-type layer, where the second electrode is not provided, has a second irregularity. The interface between the transparent conductive film and the reflective metal layer has a third irregularity. |
