PURPOSE: An intra prediction decoding method is provided to effectively reduce an additional amount of encodement due to an increase in the number of an intra prediction mode by generating a reconstruction block through joining a prediction block closed to source videos and a residual block. CONSTITUTION: An intra prediction decoding method is as follows. A video decoding device decodes an intra prediction mode of a current prediction unit by using de-multiplexed intra prediction information and an intra prediction mode of a prediction unit adjacent to the current prediction unit (S110). The device generates reference pixels and filters the reference pixels based on the decoded intra prediction mode (S120, S130). The device generates a prediction block by using the decoded intra prediction mode and the reference pixels and generates a residual block (S140, S180). The device generates a reconstruction block by using the prediction block and the residual block (S190).
