PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of stably and highly efficiently generating a nonlinear optical effect for a plurality of input light each having different wavelengths.SOLUTION: In accordance with a first embodiment of the invention, a wavelength conversion device comprises: an input unit for receiving input light; a wavelength conversion unit having a polarization inversion structure in which the polarization is inverted periodically, and converting the wavelength of light in accordance with input of the light having a wavelength corresponding to the cycle in which the polarization is inverted; and a direction change unit changing a travelling direction of the input light through the polarization inversion structure in accordance with a wavelength of the input light, without changing a relative position between the input unit and the polarization inversion structure. In addition, a light source device and a wavelength conversion method are provided. |
