PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for increasing rotating speed in a machining process.SOLUTION: A spindle component 110 installed at an internal tapered socket 192 of a tool holder 190 includes: a rotating shaft 112 for rotation within the tool holder; a bearing component 120 which includes a front end bearing component 122 and a rear end bearing component 124, radially and axially supports the rotating shaft within the tool holder and enables high-speed rotation of the rotating shaft within the tool holder; a turbine 114 dynamically connected with the rotating shaft to rotate the rotating shaft; and a plurality of passages allowing high pressure cooling fluid flowing from the tool holder to drive the turbine. At least one bearing of the bearing component is disposed in part of the spindle component which is located in a space defined by the tapered socket of the tool holder and a front clamping nut 130.
