PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve high-power density and to simplify and miniaturize a structure in an actuator system.SOLUTION: An actuator system S can achieve high-power density, can simplify the structure so that only one piping is enough to be disposed per actuator unit 1 and can miniaturize the actuator system by coaction of an alternating current hydraulic source 2 which generates the alternating current pressure with an electric field applying unit 14 which changes strength of an electric field to be applied to an ER fluid 5 when switching the alternating current pressure between the positive pressure and the negative pressure. |
