PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner excellent in low-temperature fixability, heat-resistant storage properties and pigment dispersibility; a developer comprising the toner; and an image forming apparatus in which the developer is used for developing.SOLUTION: A toner has a matrix particle comprising a block copolymer having a polyester block A having a constitutional unit from hydroxycarboxylic acid and a polyester block B having an anionic group and comprising a pigment, where for the block copolymer, when observing a phase image of the cross section by using a tapping mode atomic force microscope, a domain from the polyester block B with the phase delay being large is dispersed in a domain from the polyester block A with the phase delay being small, and where a first glass-transition temperature and a second glass-transition temperature at a temperature-rising rate of 5°C/min exist, the domain from the polyester block B has an average domain size of 20 nm or more and 100 nm or less, the first glass-transition temperature is -20°C or more and 20°C or less, and the second glass-transition temperature is 35°C or more and 65°C or less. |
