PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED device which represents high color rendering properties and which does not cause cracks and the like in components and which has high durability; and provide a manufacturing method of the LED device.SOLUTION: An LED device comprises an LED chip and a translucent layer formed so as to cover the LED chip. The translucent layer includes semiconductor encapsulated particles in which more than one kind of semiconductor nanoparticles producing fluorescent light having different wavelengths different from one another are encapsulated in a coating member, and a transparent ceramic binder. A variation coefficient of particle diameters of the semiconductor encapsulated particles is 10% and under. |
