PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hook member in a hook-and-loop fastener used for a foam article.SOLUTION: A hook-and-loop fastener includes a substantially flat hollow helical body made from a single hook strap and having a first outer surface 21, a second outer surface 22, and a plurality of hooks 12 integrally formed on each of the first and second outer surfaces, wherein the hook strap is formed by plastic injection process and has a substrate and a plurality of hooks integrally formed on the face of the substrate, and wherein the hollow helical body is formed by sequentially folding the hook strap from one end of the hook strap along a number oblique folding lines which are parallel with each other in a longitudinal direction of the hook strap and at an angle theta with respect to a horizontal direction with the face having the hooks formed thereon facing outward and with the face having no hook thereof facing inward such that the hook strap is permanently deformed at the folding lines to form a hollow helical body having a width w. The hook member 20 in the hook-and-loop fastener has a simple structure and possesses a sideway bending/curving function. |
