PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical instrument capable of stably bending a bending section by preventing foreign matter from being mixed or remaining because the foreign matter deteriorates the characteristics of bending to a frictional engagement section.SOLUTION: Bending wires 24i (i=u, d, l and r) forming a pulling section having a distal end fixed to a bending section 7 is such that the wires are wound around C-rings 29i on the outer circumference of a pulley 28 to be rotated by a motor 27 provided in an operation section 3, a handy side end portion of the wire is coupled to a suspending frame 22 on the lower end of a joystick 21 forming an operation input section, the joystick 21 is operated while being inclined to reduce the dimension and enable a sealing member 32 to plug the opening of the C-rings 29i to be in a frictional engagement with the pulley 28, and thus, foreign matter can be prevented from being mixed to prevent deterioration of the function of frictional engagement. |
