PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of manufacturing an article having, on a substrate, a low reflection film excellent in abrasion resistance.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing an article 1 with a low reflection film, which has, on a substrate 2, a low reflection film 3 including binder 7 loaded between hollow fine particles 6 includes the steps of: (a) forming a hollow fine particle layer 9 by applying, on the substrate 2, a first coating composition 20 including the hollow fine particles 6 and a dispersion medium 8, and not including the binder and a binder precursor, and drying it; and (b) forming the low reflection film 3 by applying, on the hollow fine particle layer 9, a second coating composition 21 including the binder or the binder precursor, and solvent or the dispersion medium, and not including the hollow fine particles, impregnating the hollow fine particle layer 9 with the second coating composition, and burning or drying it. |
