PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that deterioration of one battery pack proceeds when the one battery pack is used positively, among two battery packs.SOLUTION: This battery system includes a motor generator which is a driving source making a vehicle run, a first battery pack and a second battery pack which are connected in parallel to the motor generator and supply power to the motor generator, and a controller which controls charge and discharge of the first battery pack and the second battery pack. When the deterioration due to a salt concentration distribution at discharge occurs in the second battery pack, the controller charges the second battery pack, using at least either output power of the first battery pack or regenerative power generated by the motor generator, while making the first battery pack discharge so as to fulfill demand power to be supplied to the motor generator. |
