PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wire with an overcurrent cutoff function that is low in production cost and excellent in processability.SOLUTION: A metal conductor 12 is configured to have a width that is melted by an overcurrent. A part in an axial direction of the metal conductor 12 is coated by a metal braid 14, and thereby, a part where an outer periphery of the metal conductor 12 is covered with the metal braid 14 and an energized cross sectional area is increased, and a part where the outer periphery of the metal conductor 12 is not covered with the metal braid 14 and the energized cross sectional area is not increased, are provided in the axial direction of the metal conductor 12. The metal conductor 12 at the part where the energized cross sectional area is not increased is melted by an overcurrent. |
