PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing technique for a sidewall member that can improve a bulge without causing problems such as a defect in cutting, edge trimming of a cut section, etc.SOLUTION: There is provided a cutter for a sidewall member that cuts the sidewall member to a predetermined length during manufacture of a tire, wherein when a cutting edge of a cutter blade is brought into contact with a plane to an overall width, a tilt angle to the plane of a cutter blade is set to decrease toward a center part from both ends of the cutter blade, a tilt angle of both the ends is set to 12-45°, and a tilt angle of the center part is set to be 0.3-0.9 time as large as the tilt angle of both the ends. There is provided the sidewall member manufactured using the cutter for the sidewall member. |
