PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter device which can reduce the size, the weight and the cost of the device and can cut a recording sheet without stopping conveyance of the sheet, an adhesive label issue device, a printer, and a cutting method.SOLUTION: If the conveying speed of label paper P is indicated by V (mm/sec); the moving speed of a carriage 43 by S (mm/sec); the distance, in a support shaft part 47 (the carriage 43), between the end face 65 located on a rear side in a positive direction G1 along a moving direction G of the carriage 43 and the cutting position of a lower round blade and an upper round blade 42 is shown by L (mm); and a conveying amount of the label paper P conveyed while the carriage 43 moves by the distance L is indicated by M (mm), then the relation among the conveying speed V, the moving speed S, the distance L and the conveying amount M is given by S:V=L:M. The label paper P is cut by setting each parameter so that the conveying amount M becomes less than 1.05 and by transversely moving the carriage 43 obliquely toward the downstream side of the conveying direction. |
