PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a fastening bolt of a clamp fitting for binding scaffolding pipes is largely projected after being assembled causing an injury or object breakage at contact, while it is safe when the bolt is projected only little from a nut.SOLUTION: A projected bolt part is extremely long after fastening a nut since a bolt distal end is caulked in order to prevent nut falling, the bolt is entirely engaged with a thread of the nut in a completely loosened stage, a metal fitting is slightly deformed every time of fastening and the rotation of the nut is advanced. A long nut is prepared and a half or more of it is molded into a thin cylindrical shape. Just by slightly widening a breadth of a bolt receiving part of a clamp, a cylindrical part (narrow part) of the nut is fitted. Since the nut is long, the bolt can be short. While the bolt is not engaged with a thread of a hexagonal nut portion in a manual fastening start stage, it is engaged with the thread of the hexagonal nut portion in the stage that strong force begins to act. The thread at the "narrow" part has only a role of drawing the bolt and the strong force does not act. Of course, it is not a problem even when a thread part is thin. |
