PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure diagnosis device for a sensor capable of diagnosing even during vehicle travel without hindering sensing of a physical quantity of an object to be sensed.SOLUTION: A failure diagnosis device 20 for a sensor 100 that outputs a sensing signal used when a control device 200 performs vehicle control, has a state mode information acquisition means 24 that acquires state mode information indicating whether or not the vehicle control can be performed from the control device, and a diagnosis means 25 that gives a diagnosis signal for failure diagnosis to the sensor when the state mode information acquisition means acquires the state mode information indicating that the vehicle control cannot be performed. |
