PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a configuration to vary the incident angle of light to be radiated to a subject concerning an ultrasonic probe.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic transducer 12 detects at least an acoustic wave from a subject. An optical fiber 13 guides light emitted from a light source to a probe body. A light guide plate 11 guides light from a light entry end optically combined with the optical fiber 13 to a light exit end arranged close to the ultrasonic transducer 12. The light guide plate 11 is formed of an elastic material to allow at least a part of the light exit end to be deformable in response to external force. |
