PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display device capable of suppressing noise caused by vibration of components of an SW power supply section.SOLUTION: A video display device includes: a lighting control section 204 including a sub-field lighting frame 20 and a sub-field lighting region 21 to perform lighting control; a video reception section 205 for transmitting video data received from a video controller 100 to the lighting control section 204; a video display section 201 for displaying the received video data; a drive circuit 202 for driving a plurality of display elements disposed in the video display section 201 with fixed lighting intensity; a power supply section 203 for drive for supplying power to the video display section 201 and the drive circuit 202; and a power supply section 206 for control for supplying power to the lighting control section 204 and the video reception section 205. The lighting control section 204 moves the sub-field lighting region 21 at random within the sub-field lighting frame 20 to perform video display. |
