PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a performance guide device for guiding a key to be pressed and a timing of pressing the key.SOLUTION: A CPU 13 reads out music data in accordance with a reading address advanced in steps for each event timing. When the read music data is a note on event, the CPU 13 causes a color LED disposed to a key corresponding to a pitch included in the note on event to light up in red, guides a key to be pressed for a user and sets a prefetched time &Dgr;T (elapsed time to a next event) to a register on the basis of a reading address advanced in steps according to addition of pointers. The CPU 13 causes a color LED disposed to a key corresponding to a pitch (note number) included in a fetched subsequent note on event to light up in a luminescent color read out from a color table according to the value of the register and guides a key to be pressed next and a timing of pressing the key. |
