METAL FITTING FOR RESTRAINING HOOP TIE, AND RESTRAINING METHOD USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal fitting and a method, which enable a hoop tie B to be easily and reliably restrained to a surface of an existing concrete structure A.SOLUTION: A metal fitting is used to attach a hoop tie B to a surface of an existing concrete structure A. The metal fitting includes chevron-shaped parts 1 which are repeatedly bent in a corrugated shape, and plane parts 2. A bolt hole 3 for inserting a bolt is opened in the plane part 2. When the hoop tie is attached to the surface of the structure A via the bolt, each of the plane parts 2 is brought into contact with the surface of the structure A, and a structure A side space of the chevron-shaped part 1 is configured in dimensions which allow storage of an outside diameter of the hoop tie B.
