PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow stirring member capable of preventing developer from being attached to a spiral blade to provide good conveyability of developer.SOLUTION: A stirring member 23 includes: a spiral blade 33 made by forming a hollow part 33b on spiral parts 33a which is formed by helically extending from one rotation shaft 31 to the other rotation shaft 32; and a rib 34 formed between opposing spiral parts 33a in the longitudinal direction of the spiral blades 33. When the outer diameter of the spiral blade 33 is represented by D, the spiral blade pitch of the spiral part 33a by A, and the minimum inner diameter of the hollow part 33b by B, the relational expression 17≤A×B/D≤36 is satisfied.
