PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for promoting the practical use of a sensor network and the spread of its use.SOLUTION: A radio communication node comprises: power feeding means for generating electric power based on natural energy and feeding generated power to targets in the own node which need to be supplied with power; mode switching means for switching modes from one to another; first communication means which, when in normal mode, connects to a public communication network to communicate; MMI means which, when in accident mode, is operated by power supplied from the power feeding means, and which accepts information from a person as its input and presents information to a person; radio communication means which, when in accident mode, is operated by power supplied from the power feeding means, and which forms a radio communication network with other radio communication nodes present around the own node and transmits or receives information handled by the MMI means through the radio communication network; and evaluation means which lets the radio communication means and the MMI means execute operations in accident mode according to a predetermined schedule even during normal mode and evaluates the result of the operations executed. |
