PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera which can cool an image processing circuit along with an image sensor and also control a cooling fan with low power without generating noise in a picture signal during continuous photographing.SOLUTION: The digital camera includes: an image sensor 3; an image processing circuit 24 which processes the output image of the image sensor 3; a mounting circuit board 33 disposed at the back of the image sensor 3 and having the image processing circuit 24 mounted thereon; a shield case 35 provided on top of the mounting circuit board 33; and forced cooling means 34 which forcibly generates air flow to cool the image sensor 3 and the image processing circuit 24. The mounting circuit board 33 has holes opened therein for ventilating the air on the image sensor 3 side to the opposite side, and the forced cooling means 34 is disposed in the hole portion of the mounting circuit board 33 so that forcible convection develops on the same circuit board that has the image processing circuit 24 mounted thereon in a direction substantially perpendicular to the circuit board surface. The forced cooling means 34 causes forcible convection so as to be sucked in from the image sensor 3 side to cool the image sensor 3, and also guides sucked forcible convection in the horizontal direction by the shield case 35, whereby the image processing circuit 24 is forcibly cooled. |
